PRAISE THE LORD! Below is the progress that was made in each priority area:

1. Drain tile around the new building included a retaining wall on two sides and a concrete drainage ditch on the same two sides plus landscape leveling around the rest of the building to move rain water away from building.

2. Fencing around the compound was installed and consisted of 7’ high chain link and three to four strands of barbed wire depending on which side.

3. Permanent structure for water tanks Three of them were built and one new tank was purchased

7. New kitchen and dining room floors and apron outside of building. The old floor was chipped up and removed.

8. Gutters were installed on both sides of the orphanage, the front of the kitchen/dining building and on the west side of the church and all of them drain into water tanks!

9. Sewer pipe was installed for the new building. This required digging a trench 18 inches wide and deep from both bathrooms, around the building, and connecting to the toilet/shower building sewer drainage system.

10. Permanent covers for the septic tank will be completed with the playground. (see below)

11. General landscaping around the main building was done to help with water drainage, and a ramp was built through the back gate of the fence to the lower area.

12. Clotheslines Three poles were set holding 10 lines approximately 28 feet long.

13. Bookshelves were built for storing medical supplies in the clinic. (2 of them, 4’ wide by 8’ high by 1’ deep with 6 shelves.)
